One of the "Doon Reels" in Padraig O'Keeffe's set, obtained from his uncle, Cal Callaghan of Doon, Kerry. Paddy Cronin, also from County Kerry, recorded the tune in Boston on a Copley Records 78 RPM under the title "The Doon Reel No. 2" (paired with and followed by "Quinn's" AKA "Mountain Top (The)") [1]. Cronin lived in the Boston area for much of his adult life, but returned to County Kerry in the early 1990's.
