RONNIE COOPER. Irish, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. A reel composed by fiddler and piano player Josephine Keegan, of Mullaghbawn, South Armagh, in honor of the late Shetland piano and piano accordion player, and composer, Ronnie Cooper (see his compositions “Miss Susan Cooper,” “Da Tushkar,” and “Mickie Ainsworth”). Keegan credits him with helping her to improve her technique on the piano.
