Back to Dew Drop Hornpipe


DEW DROP HORNPIPE. American, Hornpipe. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The 'B' part of this melody appears in the tune "Brilliancy." There was a variety house called the Dew Drop In in New York in the Civil War years.
