ARCHIE'S FANCY. English, Waltz. England, Northumberland. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by Northumbrian small-piper Billy Pigg (1902-1968), named in honor of Archie Dagg. Dagg, a farmer and maker of small-pipes, was a member of the concert band The Border Minstrels, and composed “Elsie’s Waltz.”
