Source for notated version: obtained "about 20 years ago [ed. 1880's] from Mr. M. Flanagoan of the Hibernian Military School, Phoenix Park, Dublin, a good player on the Union pipes. Mr. Flanagan picked them up in North Kildare" [Joyce].
