REEL DU GUEUX. AKA and see "Reel St-Pierre." French-Canadian, Reel (2/4 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. From the repertoire of Montreal fiddler Joseph Allard (1865-1947), who re-released it in 1942 as "Reel du gueux," although it had originally been recorded by him at the end 1930 as "Reel St-Pierre."
