HARE'S PAW [1], THE ("Cois an Ghiorria" or "Cois a' Ghaorthaidh"). AKA and see "Bundle of Straw (The)," "Corry Boys (The)," "Follow Me to Carlow, Hare's Foot (The)," "Jim Kennedy's Favorite," "Low Park," "Lowlands of Scotland (The)," "Silvermines (1) (The)," "Tralee Lasses (The)." Irish, Reel. E Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB (Breathnach, Harker/Rafferty), Moylan, Mulvihill): AAB (Kerr, Tolman): AABB' (Carlin). O'Neill prints versions as "Hare's Foot (The)," "Jim Kennedy's Favourite" (the shortened "Kennedy's Favourite" also appears to be a variant) and "Lowlands of Scotland (The)." Joyce prints the tune as "Silvermines (1) (The)." A variant called "Billy in the Lowlands (2)," was printed by Peter Kennedy.
