BULLOCK'S HORNPIPE. AKA - "Bulock's Hornpipe." AKA and see "Old Age and Young." English, Triple Hornpipe. England, North-West. G Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCCD. This 'triple' or 'old' hornpipe is originally found in the Third Volume of the Dancing Master, 2nd edition [1], published by John Young in London in 1726 (as "Bulock's Hornpipe"). See also note for Scottish versions published as "Annotation:Old Age and Young." The first strain is shared with David Young's "Shire of Air", entered into his 1740 music manuscript collection, now called the Bodleian Manuscript.
