CAPTAIN ROCK [3]. Irish, Hornpipe (cut time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. "Captain Rock [3]" is an elaboration of an air also known as "Captain Rock" which is also a vehicle for the song "McKenna's Dream." It is a variant of the airs to "John Doe" and "Grand Conversation of Napoleon (The)," and related to the reels "Greenfields of America (1)" and "Molly Brallaghan (1)."
