DANCED BY MRS. PARKER IN THE PONEY RACES. Scottish, English; Country Dance Tune (2/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). One part. Mrs. Sophia Parker was one of the principal dancers of the Edinburgh Royal Circus in the 1790's. Her husband, William Parker, was the leader of the equestrian troupe.
