STANDARD HORNPIPE, THE. AKA and see “Cliff Hornpipe,” "Fred Wilson's Clog," “Higgins' Hornpipe,” "Zig-Zag Hornpipe/Clog.” Irish, Hornpipe (cut time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The second strain is similar to that of “Cincinnati Hornpipe (1),” “Harvest Home (1)” and “Cork Hornpipe (1) (The),” while “Kildare Fancy” and “Dundee Hornpipe” bear a similar resemblance.
