WHITE PONY, THE (An Pónaí Bán). AKA and see “Chalk Sunday,” “Johnny Dennehy's,” “Pretty Jane.” Irish, Jig. A Major (Levey): G Major (Breathnach). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune appears as one of "The Farranfore Jigs" by the group Shegui on their album "Around the World for Sport” (1980). Their source was fiddler Tom Billy (Murphy) and Jack Dennehy (sic).
