MONEY MUSK [3]. Old-Time, Breakdown. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'CC'DD'. As with "Money Musk (2)", this American variant is distinct from other versions. While the first two strains are distantly cognate with "Money Musk (1)" (albeit reversed from the original), the last two strains are not.
Source for notated version: Alan Jabbour with the Hollow Rock String Band [Phillips], learned from Henry Reed (1884-1968, Glen Lyn, Giles County, Va).
